Photo: Rick Gerharter In recognition of San Francisco's Transgender History Month, the Transgender District and Friends of the Urban Forest will plant trees in the Tenderloin Saturday, August 27, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The group will meet at Boeddeker Park, located at Jones and Eddy streets. Aria Sa'id, a trans woman who's president and chief strategist for the trans district, said the effort was a long time coming. "We're excited to share that after four years of advocacy — it's finally happening!" Sa'id stated in an email.
